Election Sausage Sizzle Resources

Here are some handy resources and recipes if your school, church, scout group, or PCYC is running a sausage sizzle or cake stall on election day. I will be adding more as I find them. If you know of any great tips or recipes, please let me know via twitter or facebook

Food Standards Australia and New Zealand produce an excellent page on some simple tips to ensure that your sausages in bread are safe:

Each council jurisdiction has different regulations around whether or not you need a licence for a sausage sizzle. Please check with your local council.

In Brisbane, for example, no licence is needed because a sausage sizzle does not constitute a "meal". I philosophically disagree about it not being a meal :) but glad that they avoided the red tape
